Maria Gil, MHA

Founder & CEO

Maria is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Konsu Health, responsible for the strategic direction and serving as the Director of Laboratory Services. 

Maria previously served as Director for AXA Asia, where she led digital health, customer experience. Prior to AXA, Maria was a senior engagement leader and founding member of the Healthcare practice at Prophet, where she led brand, marketing, digital and experience engagements for clients like BMS, Teva, Mayo Clinic, MD Anderson, Northwestern University and Abbott. 

Maria regularly lectures at NYU Stern School of Business and has served as adjunct faculty at Northwestern University School of Medicine. She has a Masters in Healthcare Administration from the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University. 

David Barnett

Founder, President & COO

David is the co-founder, President and Chief Operating Officer of Konsu Health. An experienced entrepreneur, business executive, philanthropist and former Mayor, David has a long history of successfully starting, acquiring, building, growing and selling businesses. His M&A experience includes both buy- and sell-side transactions across public and private companies. Prior to Konsu Health, David founded Corsis, a leading technology due diligence platform that was acquired by a PE firm in 2020.

David is the former Mayor of Springfield, NJ, has twice been a candidate for the NJ State Assembly, is a member of several public boards and served on NJ Governor Phil Murphy’s Government Technology and Innovation transition committee. David is a board member of the All Stars Project, a national not-for-profit organization addressing issues of racial, economic and social divisions.

Shrawan Patel, MD

Chief Product Officer

Dr. Patel oversees the clinical technology for Konsu Health as the Chief Product Officer. Having previously worn hats as a clinician, technology innovator entrepreneur, and business operator, he brings a seasoned understanding of the best practices and common logistical pitfalls of real-world clinical protocol implementation. 

Dr. Patel has assisted healthcare firms in making the most of emerging digital technologies. Previously, he was the Vice President of Clinical Transformation at RxHealth, which offers a digital health platform for prescribing and monitoring digital therapeutics.  He earned his MD in Medicine at Imperial College of London with a distinction in General Practice. He also holds a BS from Imperial College in Medical Science and Respiratory Science.
